Pat Richardson memorial match

                                         Wednesday  19th May

 good turn out for this match 30 anglers turned up and the weather was very nice, a very warm welcome was extended to Brenda Richardson and her son Paul who came along for the day.

Pat was a well thought of member of the club and he always used to enjoy the Wednesday matches and we will all miss him.

Everybody did catch fish but it was very slow in places, the carp were very active and where being hooked by quite a few anglers, unfortunately this was a silver fish only match and the carp were unwanted, the silver fish did show in places but the fishing was very patchy.

Doug Scotland was first with 21-09-00, he fished soft expander pellet over fishmeal ground bait using small hooks.

Ray Hedges came 2nd with 13-08-00 , he fished soft pellet only .

Ricky Sheldon came 3rd with 13-00-00 he also fished with pellet over homemade ground bait .
